Megan Marshall's "Margaret Fuller: A New American Life" has won the 2014 Pulitzer Prize for Biography or Autobiography. 

Marshall's research and writing have earned acclaim; her earlier book, "The Peabody Sisters: Three Women Who Ignited American Romanticism", was a 2006 Pulitzer Prize finalist.  Marshall teaches nonfiction writing and archival research in the MFA program at Emerson College where she is an Associate Professor in the Department of Writing, Literature and Publishing. She will be the Gilder-Lerman Fellow at the Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center for Scholars and Writers of the New York Public Library in 2014-15.
